What is a 2004 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon worth? I'm going to look at a 2004 jeep wrangler rubicon that has 58,466 miles on it and is in excellent condition. It is a electric lime green one that has a manual transmission. It is for sale at a local subaru and kia dealer. They are asking $16,200 for it. I live in West Virginia so a rubicon would come in handy. I was going to try to talk them down to $12,500 and it is booked at $15,000. What would you try to get them to considering i can get a new 2009 jeep wrangler x for $18,876.

Carol replied: "Tell them they are high and it is not worth more than $12,500, then be prepared to walk. If they really want to sell it to you they will come down on the price, if not then I guess you go with the new one (be sure you mention that to them). $16,200 is way to much for it. Go to Kelly Blue Book and print out the sheet and show it to them. It will list it at around $13,000. Also, never let on how much you like it. They won't come down on the price if they think you are an easy sell."

Rita Rose replied: "If I were you, I would go onto your computer at blue book, to see what the blue book price of that vehicle really is. It will tell you a high price if it is in excellent condition and a low price if not in good shape and the mileage makes a difference on the blue book price."

JeepGuy replied: "The Tomb Raider edition Rubicon was a limited run of just over 1000 units, made available for sale in July 2003. The package started with a bright-silver Rubicon with dark slate interior, and included exterior accessories: • a light bar across the top of the windshield • black tubular grille guard • fog lamps with brush guards • tail lamp guards • riveted fender flares in graphite • an aluminum diamondplate appliqué on the front bumper • Tomb Raider badging. and interior accessories: • silver instrument cluster bezel • silver center stack bezel • red seat belts • special dark slate seat covers with red accent stitching • Tomb Raider badge with serial number I did a search on ebay for "Rubicon Tomb Raider" and found two listed: You can also search and, and your local newspapers. You can also start with a bright silver Rubicon and buy just about all of the add-ons except a serial number at. Lots of the add-ons are also on ebay at any given time (I found the red seat belts and front bumper appliqué when I searched)."

jeepaholic replied: "to be honest the only reason i got a tomb raider edition was because it was brought in used at the dealership in town other then that i have never seen these for sale anywhere else i guess it was just my luck. i got mine out the door for $23,000 with a $5,000 down payment and it only had 8k miles on it so it was still in top shape oh and i got an extended warranty with it (which has proven useless because i have to pay $100 deductible to fix anything and sometimes they still dont get it fixed) but ya they are going to be a bit more than the normal rubicons but not by too much even though it is the tomb raider edition good luck and if you find one keep it forever and dont baby it lift it and wheel the thing like it was made to"
