Good 2009 Acura TSX Lease Quote? I received an internet quote from a dealer in New Jersey on a 2009 Acura TSX Base model. Here are the details: 36 month lease 15,000 miles per year all season weather mats $1400 due at signing $375 per month (with all taxes and fees included) I don't know how truthful this quote is but does this seem like a good deal or should I shoot for a lower price?

G35_Tuner replied: "That's actually a really good deal. I looked into leasing a Acura TSX and for me it was about $460 a month. So $375 is a pretty good deal if you ask me, especially considering you have 15,000 miles instead of the average 12,000 miles and all your taxes and fees are included in that $375."

Jess replied: "It's a good deal if you feel like it's a good deal because the truth is, when buying a car, there's ALWAYS a better deal out there so if you'd be happy with that deal than yes it's a good deal. I will say that the new TSX is BAD A$$!"

Brutus replied: "Bad deal. An individual should never lease a car. You're going to fork over $14900 and at the end of the lease, you'll have nothing. Go over 45,000 miles and you'll pay through the nose. Don't hit 45,000 and you're making a gift to Honda Finance."

2009 Acura TSX lease? i currently lease a 2005 TSX..i got a brochure in the mail showing off the 09 TSX and im in awe...my lease is up in Sept 09, but im estimating ill be over my lease by roughly 40,000 miles (long commute)..since i dont want to pay $2,800 or so in mileage to trade in my TSX, are there any other options I have to get my hands on the new TSX, possibly before my lease is up? any help is appreciated.

Math M replied: "hmm"

Matt S replied: "You can trade in your leased vehicle at any time and the dealer will treat it as if you owned the vehicle. The bank sees a lease as a simple agreement for you to buy the vehicle for a certain amount of time, and they agree to buy it back when you're done with it. You can even call your bank (Acura Financial) and get a payoff quote to find out how much you owe on the vehicle and compare that to the trade in value of the vehicle. If you are over your allowed mileage you do not have to pay mileage penalties if you trade in your leased vehicle before the lease is over."

Dave replied: "Wow thats a lot of miles to be over, I have the same problem with my BMW, but I was only over 13,000 miles. BMW didnt want to help me out even if I bought another BMW, but check with Acura. They might charge you for less miles if you get another Acura. Call around a couple dealers and see what they can do for you, tell them your situation and that you want to lease another Acura and see if th ey can do anything for you."

Dylan H replied: "never lease a car ever again! talk to your dealer and make sure he isn't bullsh!tt!n you. if the dealer makes promises that are not on the contract, whatever you do, do not listen to those."

spidee62 replied: "You can trade in your 2005 for the 2009 but make sure under in mileage, and whatever you owe left on the 2005 is less then what the trade in value is that way you can work get a good deal on the 2009. Go to kellybluebook.com and check out the trade in value of your 2005 tsx."

anuhyi replied: "You can buy out your lease and either trade in the car or sell it on your own, that's the only way to avoid mileage penalties. And if you're over by 40k miles then you'll owe at least 4k for mileage penalty. And it might be more. (that's at a $0.10 per mile) Look at you contract to see what your mileage penalty is. And your financing company is American Honda Financial Corp. Not Acura Finance like one of the other posters said. But before you buy out your lease go and get the car appraised at an Acura dealer and see if the 4k in mileage penalty would be less of a hit than what the buy out is. (but do it when you're going to be getting a new car because trades change all the time)"

Paul G replied: "The dealer will allow you to trade in and swap for the new 09' but you will be UPSIDE DOWN on the TSX Meaning that they will probably charge you the overage of the mileage and include it to the price of the new car. EXAMPLE: if the TSX cost 30,000 and your mileage overage cost you 2,800 Then you will finance 32,800. This is not a good idea because you will probably be over next time and this cycle will never end. Just buy out your current lease or turn it in and BUY your next car. Buy used and you will never have to pay sticker price or worry about miles again. I own all 3 of my vehicles and no they are not Buckets. Just not spanking new. But they are all mine."

James K replied: "Your best bet is to go to the dealer that you bought the car from. They may be able to eat some of that cost but I doubt all of it. Also if you want to get an 09 TSX there will be much less room for them to work since that is a brand new car and in demand. Your best bet is a 08 TL since they are coming out with a new model soon. With the new model there are great deals on them and that will also help offset the high millage."

nj2pa2nc replied: "go to an acura dealer and find out what they will do for you. If you like what they have to offer-go for it. One of the main reasons I do not lease is I drive 30,000+miles a year."

Chevy Equinox 2009 or Acura TSX 2009? I have the option to buy an Equinox and they will give me $7000 as a down payment if I turn my leased car in early and have it paid off in 4 years. Or I ride out my lease till October and get a TSX which will also be another 3 yr lease. I have never owned a car and like leasing because **** I get a new car every 3 years. So I need opinons on what to do and what you know about these cars? Thanks for your help! ps the equinox would be the AWD Sport

hardcorenuissance replied: "Equinox!!! it's american. TSX is a base model acura, horrible car. equinox also has more storage room and more power."

john m replied: "id go with the tsx....less visits to the pump and less out of the wallet...."

HJ Sharayah 2009 replied: "Go with the Chevy... Always go with the Chevy... =] Good Luck!"

C7S replied: "Acura TSX. It will last forever. And it looks great. And it drives great. The Equinox is very hard to park. The turning radius is worse than many larger SUV's."

Tony Montana replied: "tsx, for sure i have an 08 mdx and it is fantastic... honda products are simply the best on the road, and american cars have horrible reliability"

Acura v. Infinite v. Honda v. BMW, best 4 lease? I'm about to lease a new car the following is a list of the cars i'm considering: (they are all 2009 or 2010 whichever is available for lease) Acura TSX OR Infinite G37 sedan OR Honda Accord EXL V6 OR BMW 328 Coupe It's a car for myself, not necessarily has to be a family car. Lets say they were all the exact same in terms of cost/price. Which do you think of everything the cars have to offer is the best choice of that list?

Red Mob replied: "Most definitely the beamer. First of all, BMW is an extremely reliable car. You will have minimum to no Maintainence for the next few years. BMW cars are built to last, why do you think you see so many of them? Also, the 328i has amazing milage. When, (notice I said When) you buy the BMW, you will not be dissapointed!"

Which car should i lease of the list? alan replied: "The Acura is just gonna be a fancy Honda anyways, and the G37 IMO isn't worth it Go with the Honda or the BMW"

Buying a Genesis coupe is it worth it? Hey guys my lease is expiring soon on my fusion and i am looking at a new car there are a few contenders that im leaning towards. here is the list of my choices 2010 genesis coupe 2.0t premium 2010 Ford Fusion SEL V6 2009 Pontiac G8 (if i can find one) 2009 Acura TSX (a bit expensive so its like last on the list) The fusion was my top choice but the deals aren't that great im really leaning towards the genesis now and im getting a decent deal on it.. like the question says it worth the buy. any opinions and thoughts would be appreciated im in canada btw so it would be nice if i can get a feedback based on whether the cars would also be good in winter here. Thanks the drivetrain for the genesis and the G8 are rwd where as the tsx and the fusion are front wheel.

hum replied: "I think you should wait for the 2011 one"

the answer replied: "All the cars on the list are RWD. Consider the Audi A3. It isn't that expensive, and would handle well in the winter, and has all the bells and the whistles."

alex replied: "unless you get a 6 sp g8 - the genesis will hold its value the longest and hold up well- and it depends on if you need 4 doors and a bunch of other stuff - for that money i would buy a used car that is a couple years old, i bet if you look hard you might find a used sti"

Tarzan in Florida replied: "I do not know about the reliability of the TSX but I love the car. The Equinox is an ok vehicle. The 2010 is totally redesigned so if you can hold out for one of those it might be a better vehicle. The Equinox does have a few issues with the stereo and water leaks in the rear passenger and storage areas. These will be covered under the warranty so it will just be an irritation for you to bring it to the dealer. The $7k down is a very enticing deal though."

Timmy replied: "tsx... and u have to understand that chevrolet does this stuff jus cuz of todays economy and americans preffering japanese cars over american... id go with tsx cuz of performance and looks!"
