Find Nissan Lease Rogue in Questions
Nissan Rogue National Lease Offer? I am the market to LEASE a 2009 Nissan Rogue. About 1 and half months ago I saw a TV advertisement that showed a special lease offer for $0 down $189 a month. I am trying to find this somewhere on the Internet but I cant seem to find it. Has anyone heard of such a deal or can you find it somewhere online? The commercial was straight from Nissan and NOT a local dealer. Any input is much appreciated. 2009 Nissan Rogue S Model BASE Package

John Paul replied: "0% down applies to new Rogue purchase. The comercial is still running national tent sale... for a Lease deal on base Altima for 199 a Month. use the "nissanusa" web site for more details. Only Lease if you can take a TAX deduction. Also the problem I see for BASE model cars is resale when the lease is over. There is no such thing as a free ride. And most leased cars get limited service from there owners. Making them worth even less. I TIVO those comercials and play them frame by frame some times. Generally there is legal notices after and a Dealership does not have to have in stock the one car that applies for the big discount."

Lease a Nissan Rogue? I am thinking of leasing a Nissan Rogue. Any opinions? My income is currently about 50,000 but in the next year will reach 80,000 as I graduate with my BA in December. I have another car, fully paid off (2002 Cavalier), that I can use now and then for trips to make sure I don't rack too many miles on the Rogue. I am thinking of doing the lease and then buying it in the end, as I will be in a much more secure financial situation at that time. What do you think?

sukbunny replied: "The Rogue is a nice car, but why are you leasing? If you lease it and then buy it you're going to spend more money than you would if you had just bought it in the first place. They aren't that expensive, so financing it with your income should be no problem. Plus if you buy it you can drive it whenever you want instead of hiding it in the garage because you're afraid to put miles on it."

Buying a 2006 Honda Civic EX or Leasing a 2009 Nissan Rogue S? I am getting a car for graduation and have narrowed it down to buying a 2006 Honda Civic EX or a 2009 Nissan Rogue in which I would lease. Which car do u think is better and which one I should choose? Keep in mind the following: ~ Little cars like the Civic make me worried because of the size and what will happen if I get into an accident ~ I ride horses and have to lug my stuff back and forth from the barn when I go to College ~ I want it big enough to hold my friends ~ Gets good gas mileage and low on maintance Thanks for your answers and input!!!!

Seraan78 replied: "I would prefer buy then lease. When you buying, you building equity. When the car paid off, you have some equity. Sell it, trade it in, whatever. When you are leasing, you are paying a bill. You gain nothing. Can't sell. It's a bit tough, since you need room. I'm not sure the Civic will be enough to lug you stuff. I also understand your worries about accident. (and from cars are harder to see out, less comfy to sit, less comfy to get in and out than from an SUV) Can you BUY a small SUV? Or a station wagon? That would be better hauling stuff.."

handyclown replied: "i think it better to own it"

lauren e replied: "I just bought a Rogue for most of the reasons that you listed. I've been sharing my mom's SUV with her since I got my license and wanted an SUV. I wanted all-wheel-drive (not available in the civic) because I will not be living at home for very long and I live in Canada. I wanted a hatchback vs. a sedan trunk because I'm hoping to start up a business in the next few years. The rogue gets pretty good gas mileage and they both take regular gas. Honda's are very reliable and are one of the top selling cars. Also, make sure you like the CVT in the Rogue before you make a decision. Some people don't like the feel of it. Having said that, buying is a better option for you while you are going to school. If you lease the rogue, what will you drive when the lease is up? Will you have the money to lease another car or to buy out the rogue? The rogue may look like a cooler car, but financially, it may not be the best option. Good luck"

Is this a good deal for a Nissan Rogue? I am in the market to lease a 2009 Nissan Rogue S Base Model. this is the deal they are offering me... Drive Off: $1000 Money Factor: .00234 Residual: 59% Miles per year: 12,000 Payment: $289/month (price includes tax)

tomfoolery replied: "So you are putting 1K down, and are paying 289/month for a Rogue? That sounds like an acceptable deal, and is about what I've seen advertised locally for lease deals."

Is $350 a month a good price on this nissan rogue? In what world? As a lease? no thanks, and I wouldn't want a benz anyways Its a 2009 Nissan Rogue SL with premium package. MSRP is $24,945. I'm getting an out the door price of $21,200 at 72 months with a 6.99% APR and I'm putting $1,800 down. Am I getting a good deal? The 6.99% is the lowest APR you can get on 72 months, If I went with a 60 months I could get a lower APR but the payments would be higher and through the credit union the only way to get 72 months is if the purchase price of the vehicle is over $24,000

hullmiddle replied: "NO YOu can get a Benz with that pric"

euroman71 replied: "When you add up all your payments over 72 months plus 1800 you pay up front, you'd pay total of $27,000 for this vehicle. You might want to check with the credit union on a better interest rate. 6.99% sounds a lot on a new car considering some manufacturers offer 0 to 2.99%. I don't think this is necessarily a good deal. If you didn't have to pay downpayment, then it would be acceptable."

The Eagle Keeper replied: "While that is a nice car & I like it too, I would reconsider if you needed such a loaded vehicle. A Rogue S FWD that is lower in price would still allow you to have a nice Nissan, but allow you to pay it off in 60 vs. 72 mo. That has been the problem why so many people are having difficulty in making payments. They get into a vehicle they didn't need & were living in excess if their means. Many people wanted a big nice car & shouldn't have gotten one. I'm not saying don't get what you want, but when you ask about a 72 mo loan, it tells me you are stretching your budgets to the max. Think to the future. If there is any doubts or risks that you or your mate could loose their job, do you need a car that expensive? Just a suggestion, g'day!"

Todd replied: "$21,000 OTD (out the door) means including taxes which translates into they're selling you the car for less than $21K. This is a very good deal since a $25,000 vehicle is going to only have about $1600 mark-up in it w/o using any rebates or manufacturer incentives. They're obviously using incentives to provide you a lower price but how much can there really be ? You can check the incentives on Nissan's website btw. Also 6.99 APR is a pretty good rate for 72 months The 350/mo payment is only relative to the amount financed, term, and apr. $350/mo has nothing to do w/ it being a good deal or not. The purchase price vs msrp is the only thing that makes it a good deal or not. But... Sounds like a pretty good deal to me."

tomfoolery replied: "I agree with the salesman on this one (never thought I'd do that!) 21K out the door is a very fair price to pay for one. My buddy drives one, and absolutely loves it. I rode in it with him for a long trip, and it was sweet. You definitely seem like you did your homework, so enjoy!"
