where can i find a supercharger for a 91' ford f150? I really just want to find a good site I can buy parts for my truck. Its such a hard year to find anything for!!!

I hate yellow jackets replied: "What motor do you have ? 302 and 351 you would be better off to switch to Mustang or Explorer intake to use after market bolt on Paxton or Novi style . Or there is always the roots style blowers . Either way changing the intake would make it easier . If you have a 300 straight 6 look at some of the stuff they do in Australia"

does anyone make a supercharger for the new 4.2l v6 ford f150? i am looking for a supercharger kit for a 2006 f150 with the 4.2l v6..i have been looking around and havent found anything yet..also does the kits i have seen for the older 4.2 fit

Dylan replied: "Hemi does, for the Dodge Ram, but It works in a Ford F-150 just as well, but you would have to have it professionally done, which would cost you (at our dealership) Dylan Dealership World Wide about $3,595 and that is on the cheap side. I can give you a better estimate if I know... What state are you in? What is the Dealership name you bought the car from, and what was the approximate purchase price of your car? and What year is it? email me now at the dealership at"

Thomas S replied: "You can try: J.C. Whitney Either call them or go online and get a free catalong. they have been selling performance and car parts for decades."

www.superchargersonline replied: "Currently there are no complete bolt on kits for your application. You can always try to retro fit a kit to work or get one custom fabricated however this is not a simple task. Your best bet is wait and hopefully a 3rd party company will fabricate a kit. However it looks very unlikely since this is not a popular demand. If you do find a kit for an older 4.2L there will be a lot of work that needs to be done to retro fit it. Sometimes the kit will mount up without any major modifications however it is usually the tuning that never works. Best of luck on this search...hopefully one day a company will make a kit for it."

Can Saleen f150 parts fit a ford f150? I just got a ford f150 its all i could afford i did hoever get the 5.4 engine but i was wondering if the saleen body kits and performance parts would fit on a regular f150 such as the supercharger and the sideskirts

transplanted newfie replied: "it should"

w_xsoadx_w replied: "yes"

big_guy replied: "yes it should"

Nazim replied: "Of course they would. just unbolt your stock parts and bolt in the aftermarket parts. just be sure to specify all the details of your car when ordering a part. (like crew or reg. cab, lariat, xlt or king ranch.) be sure to mod it up. it's very simple and fun."

Bruce L replied: "yes they will. all Saleen does with any vehicle is take the base model of what ever they are produceing, rip the powertrain out, install the upgraded powertrain, brakes and suspension and add the body kit. be it a mustang or f-150."

Nate replied: "It will fit. Just make sure you get all the mounting accessories and youre good to go."

will the supercharger off of a 99 ford lightning 5.4 fit on a 97' f150 4.6 ? need to know that it will fit before i buy it

Mike replied: "dont think it will, the 5.4l and a 4.6 are 2 different engines making them both have different heads and intakes i believe."

Ford Goddess replied: "No it will not fit. The 5.4L engine has a longer stroke than the 4.6L, as well as a longer block deck height required to accommodate it. Although the cylinder heads are identical between a 5.4L and 4.6L WINDSOR engine, the distance between the two are farther apart on the 5.4L engine due to the aforementioned deck height differences between the two. If you desire forced air induction, you will need to purchase it from an aftermarket vendor. Hope this helps."

Mike C replied: "NO! The heads are to short, the lower intake would not match up to the 4.6. You would need the lower intake to bolt up the midplate to bolt the Eaton on there."

SVT Cobra Lover replied: "I do not believe the supercharger manifold will bolt up to the 4.6."

I have a Ford Lightning (supercharged F150) does anyone have a clue how to change the belts? i.e. serpentine belt is behind the supercharger belt - how does the supercharger belt come off?

thumperxlt2000 replied: "that belt also has a tensioner, just the old bolt style BUT if you over tighten that one you'll chew up the bearing in that $$$$$ blower. Might wanna Let someone change that for ya, could be cheaper"

ford f150 v6? im just wondering if i can maybe put a supercharger on my 99 f150 stepside with a v6.and what type i should put in.

frank replied: "I dont even know if they make one for the 4.2"

Power gains on a 2006 Ford F150 5.4l??? I have a 2006 ford f150 4x4 with a 5.4l and i have a K&N cold air intake, magnaflow catback exhaust, and an edge evolution power programmer. What other modifications could i buy to give me more power. (excluding turbo kits or superchargers)

Matt W replied: "sell it and buy a chevy"

ididntdoit99 replied: "If you are just looking for bolt ons or simple projects the two that come to mind are electric fans and lightweight pulleys."
